About
A life of faith service
and enterprise.
Charles Joseph is a minister, entrepreneur and community development leader whose work spans Canada and Nigeria.
Across nearly four decades of ministry, my focus has been on helping people grow in faith, exercise responsible leadership and turn vision into action.
I am the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Overcomers Christian Center in Canada, where my ministry centres on biblical teaching, spiritual growth and leadership development.
As Executive Director of Overcomer Community Development Centre, I support initiatives serving African Canadians, immigrants and people facing social and economic barriers. This work includes food security, seniors’ programmes and opportunities for community participation.
I am also the Founder of Amaripay, a technology venture focused on digital trust infrastructure for African commerce. Through Amari Smart Living, I am involved in property and hospitality projects in Abuja, Nigeria.
My leadership development includes studies in governance through Schulich and negotiation through McMaster University.
Why I created this space
People often need more than encouragement. They need perspective, honest questions and practical direction. This website is a place to share what I have learned, what I am still learning and the principles that guide my work.
What guides my work
Purpose, stewardship and accountability.
Faith shapes my understanding of purpose and service. Stewardship calls me to use time, resources and influence carefully. Accountability means explaining decisions, keeping commitments and taking responsibility for outcomes.
I also believe experience becomes more useful when we examine it honestly and remain willing to learn.
